Mike Steiner serves as the Assistant Director of Health Care Services for the School Employees Retirement System of Ohio (SERS), which provides retirement security to the employees who manage the daily operations of Ohio’s K-12 schools, community schools, and community colleges. In his current role, Mike oversees the medical and prescription drug plans for approximately 40,000 SERS retirees and beneficiaries. He earned a PhD from The University of Akron and was previously an analyst for the Ohio Department of Medicaid before joining SERS in 2018.
